From sleek speakeasies to laid-back listening bars and coffee shops with a killer cocktail list
Wellness community Serenbe, a 45-minute drive south from metro Atlanta, has a new cocktail bar and restaurant named Austin’s that pays hommage to 1920s Paris and London. The beverage team uses botanicals from local farms, including the one on the property, Serenbe Farms, to create unique cocktails with floral and herbal flavors. Take the Equestrian as an example, made with whiskey, Cocchi Rosa (aromatised wine made with extracts of flowers and spices), Drambuie (liqueur made from Scotch, honey, herbs and spices), Benedictine, bitters, and garnished with lemon peel. Or the Southern Beauty made with sake, St. Germain, creme de violette, peach bitters, lemon, and grapefruit. Zero-proof drinks are available, along with a beer and wine selection.
