We’re opening up our space for children to get creative and learn a new craft after school. Our course runs for four weeks and we welcome up to six kids in each class who are looking for a fun activity where they will learn about the ceramic process from start to finish. Throughout the four weeks of class, students will learn basic handbuilding skills through pinch pot, coil and slab-building methods. Each student will leave with 3-4 pieces that they will paint themselves and finished by us in a clear glaze. We chose not to have a theme for these workshops as we love when the children choose what they want to make. Examples are animals, jars, mugs, bowls, planters, vases, small houses etc. We need at least three participants to have the workshop.
