Serenbe Film presents HBO’s Documentary, Private Violence, with Tena Clark interviewing Kit Gruelle
Friday, May 19th from 6:30-9:30pm
The Inn at Serenbe Oak Room
Free admission, please RSVP
Tena Clark, curator of the Movies That Matter Series for Serenbe Film, is bringing in the star of the HBO documentary, Private Violence, Kit Gruelle. The Sundance award-winning documentary film is about the tragic experiences of domestic abuse. Kit Gruelle, an advocate who seeks justice for all women, will be in Serenbe to share how she survived her experiences. This will be an important evening for anyone who has had these issues in their family or friendships. It will also be a meaningful way to sensitize everyone throughout our Chatt Hills community (and beyond) to the crucial importance of supporting victims of domestic abuse.
This will be a very important evening for everyone, first to sensitize those of us who haven’t dealt with these issues, but even more, as a comfort to those who have. Please, invite anyone you know who may have had these circumstances in their own families. It will most certainly be a night they will appreciate deeply, and will also be a very important beginning to the ongoing Serenbe Film - Movies That Matter series.
