About the Talk and Book:
Living—and Thriving—with Anxiety

Anxiety is often kicked up during times of stress and uncertainty. While a certain amount of anxiety can be helpful—it motivates us to study for tests and prepare for presentations—in excess amounts it can be paralyzing. In a relatable talk with plenty of action-oriented tips, Andrea Petersen will discuss the latest research on anxiety and share her own vivid personal story.

She’ll share cutting-edge treatments to successfully manage anxiety disorders and the lifestyle practices (including taking walks in nature) that can keep anxiety in check. Andrea will also discuss why anxiety disorders seem to be rising among young people and what parents can do to best help their anxious children.

Brave and empowering, On Edge: A Journey Through Anxiety is essential reading for anyone who knows what it means to live on edge.
